With a rocket start off the line Tech3 E-Racing’s Lukas Tulovic managed to take over the lead of the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup in the first sector, but had to fight hard against the experience of his contenders. By the end of the short cut six laps race, the German youngster missed out on the podium by just a fraction, ending up in a strong fourth place.

Tech3 E-Racing’s Lukas Tulovic displayed an outstanding performance in today’s first E-Pole at the hot Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto. The young German managed a fast lap of 1:48.811 minutes, which made him hold on to the top spot until the last minutes of the Qualifying. He eventually ended up second, just 0.191 seconds behind the pole setter and eagerly awaits his FIM Enel MotoE World Cup debut tomorrow at 10:05 local time.

Following a first heat test on Wednesday, Tech3 E-Racing and the entire FIM Enel MotoE World Cup field was back on track today for the start of their first race weekend in 2020 with two Free Practice sessions.
