Following a difficult Qualifying on Saturday, Lukas Tulovic managed to do a strong French GP today. The Tech3 E-Racing rider started from 12th position on the grid of the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup and came out ninth at the end of the first lap. Through to some chaos in the field, he made his way to third on the third lap, but fighting hard for the podium, he lost out a bit and eventually came home seventh, just 1.045 seconds to the winner.

The unpredictable weather conditions delivered a new format for the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup Qualifying. At the start of the session, a heavy rain shower came over the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, which caused a delay and then a 12 minutes open Qualifying session for the entire MotoE field.

The second round of the 2021 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup is set to take place this weekend during the Grand Prix the France, which marks the home round of the Tech3 E-Racing team. Thereby, Lukas Tulovic was shining from minute one, claiming third in the first Free Practice around lunchtime today. He managed to lower his lap time by 1.014 seconds to cement his third position on day one.
