This weekend marks the opening of the third FIM Enel MotoE World Cup season. Following a weekend on a Moto2 bike, Lukas Tulovic struggled to re-adapt to his Energica Ego Corsa bike straight away in FP1, while he couldn’t exploit the second session of the day fully due to an interruption. Yet, the German still managed to finish the day in P13.

On the other side of the Tech3 E-Racing garage, newcomer Corentin Perolari concluded his first official MotoE session this morning inside the top 15. Unfortunately, he lost the front on his first flying lap of FP2, but luckily escaped unhurt, ready to attack again in FP3 tomorrow at 11:50 local time.

“I was really looking forward to this weekend after my first race in the Moto2. I feel like I’m on a good level right now, so I was confident arriving here. Unfortunately, I got some health problems with an allergy, I tried to manage it the best, but I’m still struggling. I’m trying to find a solution together with the staff of Clinica Mobile, but it’s not so easy. Still, we tried to do our best on track today. We have been facing some strange grip issues, we never had before. Compared to the test here, things changed today, so we need to find a solution together with the team.”

"Today was a learning day for me, I had to take it step by step in FP1. The bike feels a bit different than during the test here, so we have to find out what the difference is. Free Practice two was very unfortunate for me, because I crashed after just my out lap. I lost the front at the entry of the corner and I don’t understand why. Today was very difficult, but I’m convinced tomorrow will be better."
